How do i send my inclusions? We need about 10-20mls (1oz) of milk. You can express with a pump or by hand or if you have a strong let down, just hold a cup under your opposite breast while feeding bub. Please do not send more than 30ml as larger bags are more likely to leak.Use a breastmilk storage bag, wrapped in paper towel and placed inside a ziplock bag to send your milk. Alternatively, place the breast milk into a ziplock bag and then into 2-3 more ziplock bags so if it leaks we will still get all the liquid gold. This is the riskier option so please try the first method. ***Please DO NOT send vials, cups or containers, they almost always leak!*** Please write your full name on the pouch and place the pouch in a padded envelope or CD mailer box. The cost should be about $3 – $5. Everyone’s milk is different, some milk comes out of my pot almost dry and some take a week to be dry enough to add it to the jewellery, adding it before it is ready compromises the jewellery’s life span If you have anymore questions feel free to ring me on 0481192404 or email hello@breastmilkjewellery.com How do I post from international?HEADHEREAND PRINT THE INPORT DECLARATION AND FILL OUT CORRECTLY AND FOLLOW THE CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS Permit: 0002591720

The professional preservation method of Breastmilk is a trade skill that Cindy has worked very hard at perfecting, every DNA artist has their own method, these methods consists of a “dry”or a “wet”method, Cindy has perfected both a dry and a wet method. Not all breastmilk is the same color, some has a blue tinge, some is creamy and others is a little on the very light orange side, it really does depend on the length of time that the mother has been feeding and also their diet. As you can understand this color variation can reflect in the individual items crafted, especially when a “dry”method is used, so, having said that, if your piece is not pure white, then that is because your milk is not pure white. FAQ FOR PLACENTA ENCAPSULATION CLIENTS
WHY ARE YOU DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHER SPECIALIST?
Our kitchen is registered with the Ballarat City Council for a grade 3, home based retailer kitchen under part VI of the food act 1984. Your placentas is prepared in our registered kitchen by a certified placenta encapsulation specialist.
Ballarat Placecentas bases its unique service on on a safe, hygenic and registered service, this is also our promise to you. Cindy has completed her study in Postnatal Education, Birth Support and Placenta Encapsulation. Her certification was gained through the study at PBiU in LA in the USA. We have been so blessed to have gained the support and respect of our Local Hospitals, the fact that we have had many recommendations from the hospitals alone speaks volumes to us, and we very much appreciate and value the relationship that we hold with the Ballarat Base Hospital, the Saint John Of God Hospital, and also the Sunshine Hospital in Melbourne. Our local Ballarat Hospitals have been very supportive and even stock out Placenta Safety Transport Kits that comply with the Guidelines for the safe transport of infectious substances and diagnostic specimens. This allows you to be able to leave your decision to encapsulate until the very last minute if you like.
WHAT IS THE PROCESS ?
We like to personally contact our clients via phone to be able to discuss with them the different options and methods that are available and how they can benefit them. It is important that we chat with you so you are informed on how the different methods (TCM and Raw ) work and when you can and can not take either method, to gain the most from your pills you need to be taking the right method. Once you have made an informed and educated decision after chatting to us on the phone and have decided to go ahead, we will require you to fill out a pathologines disclosure form, If health issues on the form does not exclude you from encapsulating then you will be booked in and and a placenta safety transport kit will be provided to you two weeks prior to your due date (earlier if you have any concerns ) When the birth of of your baby arrives, you will phone us as soon as you are able, we will then pick up the placenta from maternity, the midwives will most likely have it packed ready for us, If not, we will pack it into the kit when we arrive. The placenta will be transported back to our registered kitchen in a car fridge ensuring that it remains cool at at safe food grade temperature at all times. It will undergo a health check and anatomy check and any problems will be immediately reported to you and the staff at the hospital. Your placenta will then be cleaned, drained, infused with healing TCM herbs and encapsulated using the PBi Specialist method, this is a patent method and and sacred to PBi Specialists, it is one of the highly regarded methods in placenta encapsulation and keeps the true Traditional Chinese Medicine principles true to their ancient practices. Your package will be returned to you with in 48 hours.
BUT I AM HAVING A HOME BIRTH.
No worries!, we can still collect the placenta and our safety procedures still apply. You may also wish to have your placenta encapsulated in your own home to add to your home birth experience
BUT I WAS PLANNING A LOTUS BIRTH.
A lotus birth has amazing benefits and we are very supportive of this idea, but, for your own safety, we as that you keep in mind the the health of the placenta and the fact that you will be consuming it. Our recommendations are that you consider a "modified lotus birth", where the placenta is left attached to the baby for up to 4 hours before it is removed and placed into the placenta safety transport kit, this will ensure that your placenta will remain within the safety guidelines for encapsulation.
I DON'T LIVE IN BALLARAT, CAN YOU HELP ME ?
Yes!, due to high demand we have decided to broaden our travel services, we now offer placenta encapsulation for the majority of Victoria. Prices are $1 per loaded kilometer.
Your placenta is transported in a car fridge for its safety and your peace of mind.
If you are our of town and wish to use this service it is essential that you contact us before you purchase so appropriate arrangements can be made.
